OPENING NUMBER

What is Opening Number?

Opening number is a fun, theme based routine that opens each show of the recital!

Who can participate in Opening Number?

All dancers in Kid-Levels (Kidance, Kidtap & KidIrish) through Level 5 (all styles)! All competition dancers will perform in both shows.

When are rehearsals?

IN CLASS: Rehearsals will be held during regular scheduled classes during April and May. Every dancer will learn the routine regardless if they choose to perform or not. Choreography will be simple and fun! It will all come together when rehearsed at dress rehearsal on May 31.

MAY 19: We will have 1 group rehearsal at AAD on Sunday May 19. Dancers will be scheduled according to what show they will be performing in. If your dancer performs in both shows, they should attend both rehearsals as their placement may be different.

10:00 am Show: 4:30-5:15 pm
1:30pm Show: 5:15-5:45 pm
